Telephone Readings good or bad !

Someone asked me the other day if it was difficult giving psychic or clairvoyant readings over the telephone, I didn't hesitate with my answer. To me there is really no difference between a face-to-face reading and over the phone; in many ways I now prefer it. To me if I am going to link with someone it matters little where they are psychically, what matters is the inner plane link. In many ways to conduct a reading over many miles and not actually see the person goes further to substantiate what is happening. To the sceptics who say a Medium, Clairvoyant or Psychic is merely "Cold Reading" the sitter then telephone readings must be considered favourably. Granted there are still some unscrupulous companies out there who take on anyone providing they can memorise a script, but you can normally spot these scammers if you know what to look for. Here are a few things to watch out for, keep these in mind and you won't come unstuck.

1) If the reading asks too many questions - Now I personally believe that a good reader generally doesn't need to ask a lot questions, but there are exceptions. We look for clarification of what we are bringing through; it's a way of confirming what we are seeing. When I served on the platform in Spiritualist churches I always made a statement at the beginning of the service, "If I ask for clarification please answer with a yes or no" I made it clear I didn't mind the no's because it helped me. You see in a packed church with lots of energy and etheric matter swirling around messages would occasionally get a little muddled, for instance you may have finished with one person and moved to another only to find you are still with the first. Obviously over the phone it is a little different, there are not others around, but you still may be a little off course. An honest reader will always admit if the link is weak or they are having trouble linking. The scam readers will go from one subject to the next until they find a hit, here I do agree with the sceptics it’s a case of hit and miss and eventually they will get a hit. Also genuine readers do ask a question or two at the start of a reading where the sitter wants to concentrate on a particular subject, say a relationship. To save time and the sitters money a good reader may ask for a name and date of birth for instance of the other party, again I see nothing wrong in this. But if it were a constant barrage of questions concerning the person then I would be ending the call pronto.

2) The reader tries to keep you on the line at all costs - I personally make a habit of informing my callers that it is their time and money and they can end the call when ever they like, I would prefer to be told they are going to put the phone down but it's really up to them, I also inform them that on a premium rate call the line will cut at 20 minutes, this is highly regulated now and is in place to protect people. So if you get a reader who constantly tries to keep you on the phone with chitchat about nothing in particular, alarm bells should start ringing. It's your time and money; the reader should be getting to the message fairly quickly for you. Again there are exceptions. I have conducted readings where no end of loved ones have come through from Spirit, they just kept coming and the caller rang back 4 times, each time receiving a new message.

3) Beware of low cost per minute rates. Now this is a tricky one because there are genuine companies who charge less than the industry standard rate of £1.50 per minute. But as a general rule I would be very wary of the 60p or 80p per minute offers, if you think about it genuine readers would not work for that rate, after the companies fee and admin costs have come out, there really isn't  enough in it.

4) Always look for companies that offer a chance to switch readers (when paying by credit card) if the first reader doesn't link with you. Our policy is simple, if your reader doesn't link with you in the first five minutes and you are not completely happy we put you through to another reader.

These are just some of things to watch out for, like any other industry there are those who are genuine and those who are just out to make a fast buck. If you would like more information about our service or Paul The Seer please visit www.paultheseer.com
